Why

Outdoor work that is heavy, repetitive or time-consuming.

Gardens and outdoor spaces involve a lot of repetitive physical work: moving, clearing, maintaining. Over time, robotics can lighten that load.

Specialised outdoor robots, such as robotic lawnmowers, are already widely available. Humanoid robots for outdoor work are still in development. ZETTA follows both and gives honest advice on what fits best.

Possible applications
  • Moving materials, planters and garden waste
  • Help with pruning and clearing
  • Inspection around the property
  • Support for outdoor maintenance of business premises

Frequently asked questions

Good to know.

Can a humanoid robot handle rain?

It depends on the model. Outdoor use requires suitable protection against water and dust. We explicitly include this in our selection.

Is a humanoid robot better than a robotic lawnmower?

For mowing, a specialised robot is the better choice today. A humanoid adds value for varied tasks that would otherwise need several machines.
